Fragments of you are scattered everywhere, Like the fading winter sun; I go nowhere you are not .

My work in supporting the dying reaches past working with individual and their loved ones. I am available to share my experiences with groups in a contemplative workshop gathering. If you would like to organize an event for your organization, community or church group, I am happy to customize a session that fits your particular needs. Here are a few examples of workshop possibilities.

FACING OUR OWN MORTALITY- workshop

Have you ever thought about your own death? Have you considered the impact of your death on your family, your workplace, your community? In this workshop we will look at our own mortality and the implications it will have. By doing this work, it will change how you will die AND how you will live, now and for the rest of your life. During the workshop we will refer to a publication from Willoweol.com—7 Tools for Making Sense of Life & Death.

LEAVING A LEGACY- workshop

Wouldn’t it be a relief to know that you have done all that you could do to leave the legacy you desire. Many of us believe that our legacy is the amount of funds we leave in our estate for our few chosen loved ones. A legacy does not have to be just a monetary amount. Imagine knowing that you have expressed and recorded your most important life wishes, lessons and written/recorded/painted farewells to your dearest loved ones. In this workshop we will look at the many ways of leaving lasting memories to those left behind.

PLANNING A GOOD DEATH - workshop

The best time to plan for your end of life is now. Many people die with regret, fear and anxiety. Why? Because they did not say what they wanted to say to their loved ones and/or they didn’t do what they wished they had. It doesn’t have to be like this. You can plan a Good Death. By exploring your values, beliefs and priorities, you can determine the death you wish to have. In this workshop, we will review tools that can help you to plan a Good Death such as an Advance Care Health and a Health Care Directive. We will discuss wills and powers of attorney, memorials, eulogies and obituaries. You will leave with a list of items to complete which will assist in the planning of your death.
